On the 7th July and 4th August, we proudly participated in the Holbeach Indoor Farmer’s Market, a regular community event held at the Holbeach Hub Sports Hall in the town centre on the first Sunday of each month. The markets were attended by Partnerships Manager Claire Hall and Jodie Clayton, Business Support Administrator for Lincolnshire County Council.

Farmers Market Stand

The highlight of our stand was the very popular ‘Guess the Number of Worms in the Jar’
competition, where attendees could win a hamper full of delicious treats. The hamper, generously funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, featured products from businesses who have received business support through partnering with the National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM). These businesses include Jackalope Joe Coffee Co, Glorious Chocolate, The Tastesmiths, The Lincolnshire Drizzle Company, Hunky Dory, Mr Huda’s Chef Secrets, and Gadsby’s. Two lucky winners have now been named and have collected their prizes.

Additionally, we offered sensory vision and smell activities, which also piqued the interest of many
attendees. The community showed fantastic engagement with several expressing interest in Food New Product Development (NPD), the Lincolnshire food industry, and the activities of the SLFEZ.
