25 delegates gathered to network and learn more about the support available for small businesses at a recent event arranged by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

The FSB chose The Hub at the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone (SLFEZ) to host their first face-to-face event of 2025, with a fantastically successful networking breakfast and speaker sessions for those working in the food and drink sector.

Businesses has the opportunity to find out about support the support available in the sector from the National Centre for Food Manufacturing at the University of Lincoln, Barclays Eagle Labs, Grants4Growth and NBV Enterprise Solutions Ltd.

 

Hub tenant Julian Knight from Fairman Knight and Sons UK Limited spoke about his business growth since relocating to the SLFEZ.

Finally, there was the opportunity to tour the Hub and National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) and hear from Dr. Samson Oyeyinka about a few of the amazing projects they work on!
